Celeste is a traveler, she has been around for many years, making the trip an artistic experience in itself.
Each tour contains a ritual: the search for elements that will immortalise the journey through memory.
Through the project entitled "The Unexpected part of Life", she summarises the characteristics of this "doing" in motion:
The experience of staying in unknown places, with the senses awake, expectant, collecting impressions, souvenirs, photographs.
Then these pieces become part of works, or the same account of the experience consolidates the final work, which begins with the act of the trip, with the overwhelming desire to decipher, place by place, step by step, the essence of the world.
